IndyCar heads to the starting grid this week for the start of the 2018 season. America’s premier open-wheel racing series takes the green flag in St. Petersburg, Florida featuring a new car, new teams and new drivers.

2018 has become one of the most hotly anticipated seasons in recent IndyCar history. Our friends at Mobil 1 The Grid got the pre-season thoughts of series champion Josef Newgarden as the American seeks to become the first back-to-back IndyCar champion since Dario Franchitti in 2011.
