This June the motorsport world will turn its attention to France and the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans. Who better to preview the 2017 race – the crown jewel of the FIA World Endurance Championship – than the leading contenders for victory in the LMP1 and GT categories.

Our friends at Mobil 1 The Grid caught up with the teams from Porsche and Toyota who will do battle for overall victory. Toyota’s heartbreaking penultimate lap retirement whilst leading last year means the Japanese team are going all out for victory on 17 and 18 June. Defending champions Porsche have new driver line-ups and a plan to challenge the Toyota squad that has won both FIA World Endurance Championship races this season. Meanwhile we will hear from Joey Hand, Nicki Thim and Doug Fehan as Ford, Corvette and Aston Martin prepare for the hotly contested GT category.
