Lewis Hamilton – in imperious form in China. Did not look like being troubled all race and had time to ‘mess’ with his team mate (allegedly) for a bit of fun.

Kimi Raikkonen – showing why he is still one of the most exciting drivers to watch in F1. Dull out of the car but dynamite overtaking during opening laps in Shanghai showed why we still love the Iceman. If only he could stop messing up qualifying…

Felipe Massa – showing the highly rated Bottas his gearbox at every opportunity. If only he’d driven like this in 2008…

The ‘champagne’ podium girl – astonishing composure under severe pressure from the reigning world champ. It wasn’t sexist. Just crass and offensive.

Not 

Lewis Hamilton – spraying the champagne in bad taste on Sunday. It wasn’t big and it wasn’t clever Lewis.

Nico Rosberg – the first racing driver in history to complain about the car in front slowing down. Should be embarrassed by his post-race antics.

Pastor Maldonado – oh so close to a race defined only by bold moves and fast times…

Red Bull – stop whinging and grow up. Focus on helping your engine partner, put away the big stick and put your toys back in the pram.
